This is an extremely competitive price for a graduate-level Evaluation Studies Certificate. Some courses require textbooks not included in the tuition fee. How will this certificate help me to advance my career and educational goals?
Having certification in professional evaluation is a commodity that many employers value in a tough economic market. Therefore, when looking to enhance your marketability, equipping yourself with evaluation certification puts you at the forefront of a growing field. Further, as evaluation standards are becoming more valued by national and international associations, a move for certification of evaluators is likely on the horizon. By completing this evaluation training, you will find yourself and your organization at the forefront of innovation. As our evaluation program is modularized for professional convenience it allows students to select and tailor a curriculum to immediate need. Therefore, it fits for those who are desirous of an evaluation certification or for those who are simply looking to develop a particular skill area.
Who is eligible for a Graduate Certificate in Evaluation Studies?
Anyone working professionally at either profit or non-profit organizations is an excellent candidate for this certification. As this is a graduate level program, however, it does require that all applicants have at least a bachelor’s degree.
What is the benefit of a modularized program?
In the practicum course, students perform an actual evaluation for a client, usually their current employer, and receive a grade based on how well they are able to implement the skills they learned in the program. You will be supervised by an expert in evaluation when planning, designing, implementing and managing a semester-long evaluation project. Certificate students will interact with students in the Master’s in Applied Psychology program via distance learning methods such as video and web conferencing to receive support and peer feedback.
