The Visual Resources Center is a faculty resource for visual materials and equipment for use in the classroom. It contains approximately 130,000 slides plus computer and audio/visual equipment -- computers for classroom presentations, digital projector, slide projectors, VCR's, DVD's, video cameras, digital cameras, tape recorders, CD players, overhead projectors, and film projectors. There is also a work station for faculty and student copystand photography.
Slides are available for faculty to check out after receiving an orientation to the collection and procedures. Equipment may be reserved ahead of time by either faculty or students by coming in, calling, or emailing bowkers@uwstout.edu.
The staff consists of a half-time Visual Resources Librarian , Sally Bowker, and work-study assistants.
