Megan Madson web Hello! I’m Megan and I am the Graduate Assistant here at The Qube. I am currently in my first year of the School Counseling Master’s Program here at Stout. I live in the Twin Cities, so on weekends I go home to work at my second job and see my family. I also love to travel. I spent a semester in Italy and then backpacked around Europe. When I’m not working or hanging out in the Qube I enjoy going camping, reading books, and spending time with my Stout friends. I’m around most mornings, but if you need to get a hold of me feel free to shoot me an email at madsonm0240@my.uwstout.edu
Shenicqua Billings Hi! My name is Marie Billings. Welcome to the Qube! Currently I’m the Qube’s new Outreach Coordinator. I was born in Milwaukee, WI, raised by spicy Jamaicans. I am an undergraduate student here at University of Wisconsin-Stout, majoring in Vocational Rehabilitation with a specialized focus in criminal justice. I’ll be working hard to increase visibility around campus, and collaborate with offices and departments throughout the university. In my spare time, I am creating fashion pieces to add to my fashion line, or creating and reciting poetry or working with youth to inspire them to be expand their knowledge. I am a learner, mentee, mentor, and a victor.
Frances Garrity Hey y’all! I’m Frances Garrity from Prairie du Chien, WI. I am one of The Qube’s Events Coordinators. I transferred to Stout in the Fall of 2012 after graduating from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Golf Course Management (no, I’m really not much of a golfer; and yes, I know that’s random). I am currently in the HRTM program as I hope to one day be a very successful event planner (hopefully, in a city that doesn’t see a temperature below 30 degrees). As far as hobbies go, I enjoy music related things, watching a wide variety of movies, being with friends and family, reading, loving the Green Bay Packers, hating the Bears, and learning more and more about the hospitality industry. Also, thanks to my idol and brother from another mother, Jamar Rogers, I’ve been bit by the activism bug. I’ve participated in fabulous events such as March for Dimes- March for Babies, Chicago AIDS Run/Walk, and the Minneapolis Brother Circle Dinner for World AIDS Day. I would consider myself a big advocate for social justice and human equality. Anyway! I’m super excited to be a part of The Qube’s amazing team, and am looking forward to a great semester full of fun events and fun people!
Samantha Lewis Samantha Lewis is one of the Events Coordinators with the Qube and an Ally Specialist with Ally Initiatives. She will be graduating in May 2013 with a degree in Psychology, along with a double minor in Art and Human Development Family Studies. Upon graduation, she hopes to move to the Twin Cities with her partner, and have a more diverse range of experiences surrounding the areas of LGBT and mental health awareness. It is her belief that anyone can create art and use their own innate creative skills to express their humanity. This is a practice she hopes to incorporate in a future career as a counselor in Marriage and Family therapy or AODA counseling.
Mark Richter Hi! I'm Mark Richter and I'm a freshman this year at UW-Stout. I am the first-year assistant here at the Qube, and do a little bit of every job position that is here. My most common hours at the Qube are Wednesdays all day, so if you want to stop and say hi, I'd be flattered.
Cheers!
Adrienne Sulman Hello, my name is Adrienne Sulma and I am one of the Outreach Coordinators at The Qube! I am a Psychology and Applied Social Science major. I have been an ally for almost my entire life and I also participated in LGBTQ related events/programs such as: MBLGTACC, Day of Silence, National Coming Out Day, UW – Stout GSA, and events associated with the Living Out Loud Learning Community, and more. I am a self – proclaimed nerd/geek (depending on what you want to talk about) and I wear that badge proudly, so feel free to come by The Qube and chat with me with topics that include (but aren’t limited to): Doctor Who, video games, Reddit, etc. If you can’t visit, feel free to email me with any questions at: sulmaa5805@my.uwstout.edu
Scott Hawaii web1Hello visitor, my name is Scott and I am the Communications Coordinator at The Qube. I am in my first semester at Stout where I am pursing a second degree in Information and Communication Technologies. After completing my first degree in Accounting, I worked at various Minnesota corporations in audit and analysis positions. I have always had a passion for technology and Stout’s program brought me to Menomonie. The picture to the left is from one of my visits to Hawaii. It is my dream to one day live on one of the islands (I'm not picky). You can contact me at: waldherrs0370@my.uwstout.edu
