Hola! I am currently in my second year of the School Counseling Master's Program here at Stout. After completing my Undergraduate degree here at Stout I couldn't stay away. One day I hope to eventually pursue a doctoral degree. I live off campus with a few friends and our cat and dog. Most weekends you will find me traveling back and forth to the cities to see family and friends. When I'm not working or hanging out in the QUBE, I really enjoy anything sports related, cribbage and just hanging out with friends. I'm excited to be a part of the Qube staff & Ally to the LGBTQ community! I'm in the office quite often and look forward to an amazing semester here at the QUBE. If you would like to reach me feel free to email me at

William Judd, Intern

Hello Everyone,
I'm currently The Qube's first intern and it's great to be in a place as welcoming as this.  I am in my final semester at UW-River Falls, majoring in Psychology with a focus towards Social Injustice and I have high hopes in perusing a Master's Degree in School Counseling.  I live in the Twin Cities and will be commuting here every day, which isn't that far believe it or not.  I spent a semester living in Scotland and travelling to various parts around Europe.  So if you have any questions about where to go, I'm your guy! If I'm not working here at The Qube, I'm usually working at Starbucks or finishing some planning for my wedding in June!  I'm in the office quite often and I'm always here for anyone that comes in.  If you do need to reach me for any reason, email me at  I hope to see everyone at The Qube soon!

Howdy Y'all! I am very excited to be serving on the Qube staff this year. I have always been very involved in the UW-Stout Gender and Sexuality Alliance and now with the Qube going on its first year I cannot wait to collaborate!

Well, a little bit more about me! I am a fourth year Business Administration student with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. Along with working at the Qube I own a jewelry business called Never Lost Jewelry. I also really enjoy biking, camping, rock climbing and crafting. So if you bike or climb hit me up--I am always looking for some new buddies to adventure around with! I have been out since I was twelve years old and jumped into privilege and gender studies at an early age, and I always love a good conversation about some complicated topics. So if you love to think chat and learn stop in on Friday mornings for some cards and conversation! (Nothing is better than serious conversation over a game of Skip-bo). Well, I am excited to see all my friends again and to make some new ones. Feel free to say hi…. I'm a nice guy with a big smile.

Frankie Garrity

Frances Garrity, Events Coordinator

Hey, beautiful people! I'm Frances (Frankie) Garrity from Prairie du Chien, WI. I am a returning member of The Qube family this year.  I transferred to Stout in the fall of 2012 after graduating from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Golf Course Management. I will be graduating in the spring of 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management & a professional certificate in Event & Meeting Management. As far as hobbies go, I enjoy music related things, watching a wide variety of movies, being with friends & family, reading, loving the Green Bay Packers & learning more and more about the hospitality industry. Also, as a big believer in social justice & important causes, I greatly enjoy being a part of events that support causes close to my heart. I've participated in fabulous events such as March of Dimes- March for Babies, Relay for Life & the Chicago AIDS Run/Walk. I've also donated to causes like Locks of Love & the Red Cross Foundation. Anyway, I'm super excited for a great year at The Qube! If anyone has any questions about upcoming events or The Qube in general, feel free to e-mail me at And be sure to come see us soon! Thanks!

Hello!  I am a junior in the Vocational Rehabilitation program, with a concentration in Social Work. I would like to pursue a career in Mental Health Counseling in the future. I love to laugh, watch movies, bake, and play with my cat, George. I'm very passionate about mental health related issues and creating a safe, inclusive environment for people to feel comfortable in. I am also the treasurer of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance, and love being involved in the LGBTQ community. If there's anything you ever need or want to talk about, my ears are always open! Stop by the Qube to talk, add me on Facebook, or e-mail me at

Beth Burt

Beth Burt, Communications Coordinator

Welcome to The Qube!  As Communications Coordinator I will be working hard to inform you of upcoming events happening at The Qube.  I plan to build our LGBTQ resource collection and information on LGBTQ organizations.  In addition, I am here to help you with any questions or concerns.

After completing my Associates Degree in Human Services, I transferred to UW-Stout to study Human Development and Family Studies.  I'm exploring and keeping an open mind for my career plans following graduation, but I have a strong passion to work with at-risk youth.  In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking, gardening, cooking, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.  I'm excited to be a part of the Qube staff and an Ally to the LGBTQ community!  Good luck this semester and hope to see you at The Qube!

Jake Stuck, First Year Peer Advocate

Hey there!  I am currently a Freshman here at UW-Stout and am majoring in Professional Communication and Emerging Media. I'm actually a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Wisconsin, so for the last 2 years I was in beauty school in Green Bay, WI. I hail from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but Green Bay is as much my home, so I've been told I'm an honorary cheese head! I really enjoy a wide variety of things, from hair, makeup, and fashion to hiking, mudding, and horseback riding. Feel free to stop by and say hi any time I'm at the Qube, I quite enjoy seeing you ALL! You can email me at  I'm so looking forward getting to know each and every one of you!

Hey everyone! As my title would suggest, I am a freshman this year and I am majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. As far as my interests, I love art in all of its wonderful forms, I'm a Pinterest addict, and I'm into quite the variety of TV shows, including Doctor Who, Glee, and Once Upon a Time (to name a few). If I can leave you with any wisdom today, it would be to be kind, and love one another. Have a wonderful semester and I hope to see you around the Qube very soon!

Welcome to The Qube here at Stout.  I'm very excited to be working here. A little about myself: I love video games, fashion, art, and working out. I'm also a huge anime fan. One of my favorites is Soul Eater. I love Tim Burton and Wes Anderson films. My spirit animal is a deer. I love tattoos. I'm really into vintage things. I watch Golden Girls, Adventure Time, and Regular Show religiously. I am currently a studio art major. Over all I'm a pretty simple guy.
