·Check out the Ally
Initiatives "Intersections" film series, featuring 13 fantastic films in
10 weeks. LGBT films cosponsored by GSA and the LGBTQ Program Office include:
- "Bullied," Tuesday, February 21
at 6:30pm in the Great Hall (MSC), followed by remarks and Q&A with special
guest Jamie Nabozny!
-"Brother Outsider," Wednesday,
February 22 at 6:30pm in the Badger Room (MSC)
-"Beginners," Wednesday, April
11 at 6:30pm in Ballroom C (MSC)
·Participate in filming an "It Gets Better" video; contact GSA for more info.
·Don't miss UW-Stout's annual Kitanahpalooza drag show, featuring professional drag queens and kings of the Chippewa Valley. Help out as an organizer, join the set-up committee, or just show up for the fun at 7pm on April 12 in the Great Hall of the MSC.
·Watch for Day of Silence events in April, including spoken word by Andrea Gibson and Salt Lines!
·Join the GSA's Relay for Life team to help raise money for the American Cancer Society.
