Duties: 

Oversee year round retail foodservice and catering services for the campus and local community

  • Operations include: restaurants, convenience store, express locations, food court and full service catering, on or off campus
  • Supervise production and service staff to ensure high quality food and service in all areas
  • With the Catering Manager & Executive Chef, hire, train, and manage the eight full-time and 170+ student staff, ensuring their work meets or exceeds customer expectations

Duties: 

Coordinate, supervise and oversee all catered events

  • Hire, schedule, train and supervise full-time, student management and student foodservice workers used to provide catering services
  • Meet with catering clientele and campus staff to assure successful event planning
  • Develop and administer catering policy, procedure, and menus
  • Supervise the Heritage Café staff

Supervise food production for retail operations in and serviced out of the Student Center

  • Supervise food production for catered functions, on and off campus
  • Menu and recipe development
  • Inventory, cost controls and purchasing for food, paper, and foodservice sanitation chemicals
  • Monitor and enforce safe food practices
  • Hire, schedule, train, full time staff, student production assistants and student foodservice workers for production areas
