(Formerly: Classified Employee of the Month Award)

The Classified Advisory Development Council (CADC), established by Chancellor Sorensen, was charged to coordinate a classified employee award. The council has recommended, and the Chancellor has approved, the establishment of monthly recognitions, as well as an annual award. Cash awards will be provided to all winners and the annual cash award will be selected on a random basis from the nine monthly award recipients that year. Chancellor Sorensen will host an annual reception honoring these classified employees.

 Awards Criteria

 Any UW-Stout student or employee may nominate a permanent classified staff member for the Classified Employee Appreciation Award. This award recognizes classified employees for their commitment to excellence and the university community.  Use the link below to complete and submit a short online form.
 
Of the pool of nominees, a random drawing will be held to award one classified employee each month during the academic year (September – May). Each winner will receive a framed certificate, UW-Stout mug and $50 cash prize. Nominations will remain in the pool for one year from the month of submission to give all nominees an equal amount of time to win.  At the annual reception in May, all award winners from that academic year will be recognized and have the chance to win a $250 cash prize drawing.
 
Please note that members of the Classified Employee Appreciation Award subcommittee of the Classified Advisory Development Council are not eligible for the award.  Self-nominations will not be accepted.
