Our purpose: 

  • To engage classified staff in the development and promotion of professional development and recognition activities
  • To create opportunities to provide input on issues that affect classified staff
  • To facilitate communication among classified staff and administrators

Goals and Objectives:

  • Coordinate Classified Professional Development opportunity
  • Coordinate the Classified Employee Appreciation Award
  • Provide input on the development of programs that would benefit classified staff
  • Provide recommendation for classified representation on ad hoc committees and other university committees as requested
  • Provide recommendations on communication opportunities to classified staff
  • Provide opportunities for communication

2013-14 Classified Employee Appreciation Award Annual Reception.

At a reception held May 7, 2014 Chancellor Sorensen recognized the 2013-14 winners of the Classified Employee Appreciation Award.  Lynn Bonjour, September 2013 award winner,  won the drawing for the $350.00 annual prize.
