About Us:
The function of Procurement and Materials Management (Purchasing) is to procure the desired product at the best price with timely delivery in a satisfactory manner. Our customers include: students, faculty and staff, Wisconsin taxpayers, legislators, vendors, and the UW System Administrators.
Purchasing follows policies and procedures that govern procurement practices imposed by the Wisconsin Legislature, Department of Administration (DOA), UW System, UW-Stout, and the Federal Department of Commerce.
Approximately 3200 purchase orders are issued annually with a total spent of $11.5 million!
Our office is located in Room 140 of the University Services Building, 817 S Broadway, Menomonie, WI 54751.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- 5/12/2008 - The Purchase Request may look slightly different when you use it today! We have lightened the colors in the form. Because we are scanning our forms in the business office, the darker colors were creating readability issues. If you have questions, please contact Marya at wilsonma@uwstout.edu. Thank you.

- The University Stores form has been updated to reflect the elimination of 8 1/2x11 gray paper. The last ream has been sold.
- 5/5/2008 - 8 1/2 x 11 Gray paper in Surplus is going 'out of stock' soon. There are currently 17 reams left in stock. When this 17 is sold, we will no longer be able to order this color. Contact Mary Dodge if you have questions.
- 4/15/2008 - the Stores Order Form has been updated with several new prices. Contact Mary Dodge if you have questions!
