Peer engagement and interaction, focused class discussion/activities and reflection on the educational experience will provide students the opportunity to apply motivational principles and learning strategies throughout their college experience.
Psyc 110 -General Psychology (3 credits - Included in your Fall tuition billing) This course is designed to provide the student with a broad introduction to psychology, its subject matter, its methods for developing and evaluating behavior, and how it can be applied to enhance one’s life (family, education, career). This class will plant the seed necessary to get the student thinking about psychology and all that it entails – it will increase the student’s intellectual skills and emotional insight, improve the student’s relationship with others, and will provide a basis for subsequent psychology-related classes and areas of study.
