Committee Name Optimal Health Committee
Purpose/Charge The purpose of this committee is to provide UW-Stout employees with opportunities for increasing health awareness, knowledge, motivation and skills; and to support change which would lead to healthier life-styles, habits and behaviors.

Committee Terms
  • The committee will report to the Vice Chancellor of ASLS.
  • Representatives will be appointed by the Vice Chancellor of ASLS for two-year terms, staggered so that approximately one half of the the terms expire each June. These new terms are renewable at the discretion of the nominating body.
  • All new committee members will begin appointment on July 1.
Timetable
  • The Optimal Health Committee will meet quarterly.
  • Special meetings may be called at the request of the Vice Chancellor for ASLS or the chair.
  • A six month report will be provided to the Vice Chancellor for ASLS and the ASLS Directors.
  • An annual report will be presented to the Vice Chancellor for ASLS.
Method of Communication The duties of the chair will be to call, plan and preside at all meetings and to appoint teams as necessary. The chair will also be responsible for ensuring that minutes are prepared and distributed.
