Purpose/Charge/2007-2008 Responsibilities Purpose of the committee:

1. To provide advice concerned with UW-Stout’s Campus Physical  Development Plan.
2. To address the goals of safety, aesthetics and functionality for UW-Stout’s exterior space.

Charge of the committee:

1. Identify campus physical development issues.
2. Develop plans for campus physical development.
3. Review status of campus physical development plans and recommendation.
4. Receive and disseminate information on campus physical development projects and issues.

2007 - 2008 Responsibilities of the committee:

Review CPDC Structure, Roles and Responsibilities

The CPDC structure, roles and responsibilities have not been officially reviewed for several years.  Review and provide input as to any recommended changes to the structure, roles and/or responsibilities of the Campus Physical Development Committee for 2008-09 and beyond.

 Review Plans

Review and provide input on the Campus Master Plan, Parking Development Plan, 2009-2015 Campus Physical Development Plan, Campus Boundary Changes, and Property Acquisitions. 

% for Arts Programs

Review outdoor art work maintenance plan and provide recommendations.  

Outdoor Space Requests

Review and provide recommendations on outdoor space requests and proposals, including:

  • Memorializing Stout Students
  • Parking Lot Developments
  • Other Outdoor Requests

Physical Commemoratives Guidelines

Complete a final review of the Physical Commemoratives Guidelines document.    

Memorial Request

Review and recommend placement of memorials, as requested.

Annual Night Walk and Exterior Lighting

Review the follow-up report from the 2006-2007 Night Walk and hold a 2007-2008 Night Walk. Propose recommendations to address exterior lighting concerns.

Annual Report

Provide a year-end report describing progress on the committee’s charge during 2007-2008.
