Visual Resource Center

The Visual Resources Center is a faculty resource for visual materials and equipment for use in the classroom. It contains approximately 130,000 slides plus computer and audio/visual equipment -- computers for classroom presentations, digital projectors, slide projectors, VCR's, DVD's, video cameras, digital cameras, tape recorders, CD players, overhead projectors, and film projectors. There is also a workstation for faculty and student copy stand photography.

Slides are available for Art & Design faculty to check out after receiving an orientation to the collection and procedures. Equipment may be reserved ahead of time by either Art & Design faculty or students by coming in, calling, or emailing mikla@uwstout.edu.

The staff consists of a full-time Visual Resources Librarian, Aimee Mikl, and work-study assistants.
