It's a criminal offense for a person to engage in sexual contact or sexual intercourse with any other person without their consent. Sexual contact is the intentional touching of a person's intimate parts for the purpose of sexually degrading or humiliating the victim, or sexually arousing or gratifying the perpetrator.
Reporting
If you think you've been sexually assaulted, it's strongly recommended that you immediately report the incident to the police or other university officials to seek information about options and assistance.
Medial Assistance
It's also important to seek medical attention. A medical examination will permit evidence to be collected in case you later decide to pursue legal action. In the near future you should also be tested for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
Prior to the medical examination do not clean your person, change clothes, brush teeth, or go to the bathroom. This will ensure that evidence is preserved should you decide to press charges.
