UW-Stout Statement on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse
UW-Stout is committed to maintaining a learning environment that is safe and free from the consequences of alcohol and other drug (AOD) abuse. We demonstrate this commitment by:
- Ensuring that all members of the UW-Stout community are fully aware of regulations on distribution and use of alcohol and other drugs;
- Communicating the expectation that all members of the UW-Stout community are to abide by AOD regulations;
- Strictly and consistently enforcing AOD policies and laws;
- Intervening whenever behaviors caused by AOD abuse threaten the safety, health, or ability to learn and work in the UW-Stout community;
- Assisting those with alcohol or other drug abuse problems;
- Supporting alternatives to alcohol and other drug abuse.
