As part of the University Counseling Center, The UW-Stout Alcohol & Other Drug Education Program (AODEP) helps people develop mature, responsible and legal alcohol and other drug (AOD) behaviors and attitudes. The AODEP provides a variety of services related to alcohol and other drug prevention, intervention, assessment and counseling.

Alcohol Education: Safety Skills Training Class
Helps people: Evaluate personal alcohol and other drug use; Study the effects of alcohol on the human body; Understand risks associated with AOD use; and Learn skills for risk reduction.

The Drinker's Check-Up
Individual, confidential and comprehensive evaluation of current AOD use and risks for future problems. The Check-Up includes an educational feedback component and offers suggestions for making personal change. Call 232-2468 for a Check-Up appointment.
Cost for Services
Although most services are free for UW-Stout students and staff, there is a charge for discipline or legal-system referrals.
