ASPIRE -

Student Support Services (ASPIRE and Disability Services) assists students and improves campus climate in order to increase the retention and graduation of first-generation college students and student receiving Pell grants through financial aid or students having disabilities. Students will persist and complete their educational programs and enhance their likelihood of entering into a graduate or professional school through quality services provided by committed staff.

Campus Violence and Protection Program

The CVPP Program is committed to help you understand, get help, and report problems regarding sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and other forms of violence.

Career Exploration

The Advisement Center (232-1465) offers several options for exploring career choices. You can set up an appointment to meet with someone individually or you can attend the career exploration course.

Career Exploration Course (TRDIS 101) - This course will enable you to: Understand career planning, identify career interests, values, skills and personality type, examine career alternatives, explore career opportunities, make decisions and set goals.

Career Services

Career Services Power Point Presentation - If you are transferring in as a sophomore or junior you will need to create an effective resume, cover letter, or portfolio.  For most majors you will want to find a Co-op/Internship.  Why not use state-of-the-art search and interview technology to find positions regionally, nationally, and globally?  If you have never heard of Employon, Reference USA, Interview Steam, or Going Global, you will want to contact Career Services.

Math Lab Video

The Math TLC is where UW-Stout students learn basic math skills in a people-oriented, technology-enhanced environment. Teachers start daily classroom sessions with a short lecture, then students begin online homework assignments with help from teachers and specially trained peer tutors.
