The Advisement Center is committed to creating a supportive and positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable seeking assistance. The Advisement Center provides support and assistance to first-year students throughout their first year in college. The First Year Advisors work with students until Spring Advisement Day, at which time the students transition to a faculty advisor in their chosen academic program.
Advisors will also strongly encourage students who have not declared a major to choose one by the end of their third semester.
