August 1, 2016  Start the online application process.

September 1, 2016  Online application for Fall 2017 available to submit and UW-Stout starts reviewing complete applications.

October 2016  Stout University Foundation Scholarship Application is available online.

October 1, 2016  FAFSA for 2017-18 academic year available using 2015 tax year information, www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Mid October 2016 and ongoing upon acceptance  After acceptance set up your UW-Stout email account. You will automatically receive a housing packet in the mail. Follow online process to sign your contract and pay $125 housing pre-payment fee to hold your residence hall space. 

October - November 2016  Come visit us during our Campus Preview Days and Stout Saturdays.

February 6, 2017  Stout University Foundation Scholarship Application due.

February 15, 2017  Priority deadline for FAFSA (if student applied for Stout University Foundation Scholarships).

February/March 2017  Receive Registration information.

March 2017  Visit us for Transfer Tuesdays.

March 15, 2017  Priority deadline for FAFSA. Meet this date to ensure aid is ready in the fall!

March 2017  Receive Housing room preferences, roommate questionnaire and University Dining Plan selection information from University Housing if you signed a contract.

Beginning April 1, 2017  Minnesota residents register for reciprocity. Registration is available online.

Mid-April 2017 and ongoing upon acceptance Register for Classes.

June 10, 2017  Final College Transcripts due to the Admissions Office to be considered for the Transfer Student Scholarship.

June 9, 2017  Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship application due.

Mid-Late June 2017  Financial Aid award letters posted to Access Stout.

June 2017  Receive roommate information, residence hall assignment, and move-in guide from University Housing.

July 2017  Online parking permit registration begins.

August 2017  Log into Access Stout for Fall 2017 billing information. 

August 2017  Receive move-in instructions from University Housing if you have a contract. 

August 2017  Master Promissory Notes (MPN) and Perkins Loan Promissory Notes signed online prior to beginning classes.

September 1, 2017  Final official college transcripts showing spring 2017 grades from colleges and universities attended must be received by the Office of Admissions.

September 3, 2017   Move in to residence hall.

September 6, 2017  Classes begin!
