Looking back on your time at Stout, what was your favorite part of being a freshman?
My favorite part of being a freshman had to have been my independence. Making my own choices on a day-to-day basis was both challenging and rewarding.

Do  you have a job on campus or in Menomonie that keeps you busy outside of class time?

Yup, I work in the Admissions office as a tour guide about 10-15 hours/week.

What is your favorite month of the year?
October - It’s my birth month and I love fall weather.

The best book you’ve ever read?

Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak

Why did you choose to go to Stout?
I chose Stout for their design program. Industrial design is a less common major and sometimes hard to find. Also, since I’m paying my own way, in-state tuition is a must!

Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I would like to be a successful, working, designer with a nice place and two bulldogs; one French and one English.

What is one fun thing to do outside Menomonie and one thing to do inside?
Outside: When the weather is nice I love going to the bottoms. The bottoms is a riverside beach only 15 minutes outside of town.
Inside: I love playing Catch Phrase and watching movies.

Your first "college kiss." How did you meet the lucky one? On campus? Off?
I don’t kiss and tell… promise.

If you have friends coming over, what would you cook?
Meat on the grill — 'nuff said.

Who has been the biggest influence on you in you life? What lessons did they teach you?
My parents and grandparents have all collectively influenced me to be a better person in general.

Has college been anything like you imagined it to be when you first started as a freshman?
Ha, yes, college has lived up to a lot of my expectations.

Are you looking forward to graduating college? What is your dream job?
Yes and no.Don’t get me wrong, college is great and a total blast, but I’m also excited to start my professional life. However, now isn’t the best time to be looking for work!
