What place outside of the U.S. would you most like to visit? Why?
Ireland. I have always loved Irish accents and that’s probably the main reason I want to go; just to walk around and listen to people talk all day long. I’ve also heard many great things about the country and I hear it’s very green. And green is my favorite color so, why not?

What are you listening to right now?

Feel the Tide by Mumford and Sons.

Who is your best friend and how did you meet?
This is going to be really cliché — my best friend is my husband (insert cheesy “awww”) and we met as children in the small suburb of Menomonie called Rusk. We we've been friends since we were very little and started dating our junior year of high school. We got married in 2006.

What is a clothing staple that you rarely leave home without?

Scarves!  I love them because I hate being cold.

What is the most valuable lesson your parents taught you?
Treat all humans as humans. My parents wanted me to know that the most important thing is that you love people for who they are and not what they look like, what their religious beliefs are, their skin color, their sexual orientation, etc. Love people and love them for who they are.

What is your favorite sandwich?
Tomato, bacon, avocado, smoked mozzarella on a ciabatta bread. Mmmmm… is it lunch time yet?

What is one of your favorite quotes?
“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There’s no one alive that is youer than you.”
— Dr. Seuss
