September 15, 2011 Apply online for Admission.

September 15, 2011 Stout University Foundation Scholarship Application is available online.

December Receive housing intention card and contract. Submit these and a $125 housing pre-payment fee to hold your residence hall space.

December Apply for a Department of Education Personal Identification Number (PIN) if you intend to apply for financial aid. The PIN registration is online.

January 1, 2012 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) applications are available online, www.fafsa.ed.gov

January 27, 2012 Stout University Foundation Scholarship Application due.

February 15, 2012 Priority deadline for FAFSA (if student applied for Stout University Foundation Scholarships).

March 15, 2012 Priority deadline for FAFSA

Beginning March Receive Registration Day information. Information is mailed to all accepted transfer students regarding registration/orientation for fall 2012.

March Financial Aid award posted to Access Stout.

Beginning April 1, 2012 Minnesota residents apply for reciprocity. Application available online, www.getreadyforcollege.org.

May Receive roommate/residence hall assignment, and residence hall services booklet from University Housing.

May Don't forget to request official final college transcripts from your current institution before you leave campus.

June/July Receive parking permit application from the Parking Services Office.

July/August Activate your StoutOneCard.

August Logon to Access Stout for Fall 2012 billing information. Receive move-in instructions from University Housing. Master Promissory Notes (MPN) and Perkins loan promissory notes signed online prior to beginning classes.

August 20, 2012 Official final college transcripts from spring and/or summer must be received by the Office of Admissions.

September 2, 2012 (tentative) Move in to residence hall. New Student Orientation and Laptop Rollout.

September 5, 2012 Classes begin.
