September 1, 2013  Apply online for admission.

September 15, 2013 UW-Stout starts reviewing complete applications. 

September 15, 2013  Stout University Foundation Scholarship Application is available online.

Beginning October 2013
  After accepted to UW-Stout receive housing packet. Follow online process to sign our contract and pay the $125 housing pre-payment fee to hold our residence hall space.

October 11, 16, 17, 18, 25, 2013  Come visit us during our Campus Preview Days.

December 2013  Apply for a Department of Education Personal Identification Number (PIN) if you intend to apply for financial aid. The PIN registration is online.

January 1, 2014  FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) applications are available online, www.fafsa.ed.gov

January 31, 2014  Stout University Foundation Scholarship Application due.

February 1, 2014  Registration begins for Placement Test.  Regional Placement Testing FAQ  [PDF] 

February 15, 2014  Priority deadline for FAFSA to be eligible for financial need-based scholarships through the Stout Foundation Scholarship Application.

March 2014  Receive Registration Day information.

March 2014  Receive Housing room preferences and University Dining Plan selection information from University Housing.

March 2014  Financial Aid award letters posted to Access Stout.

March 15, 2014  Priority deadline for FAFSA.

Beginning April 1, 2014  Minnesota residents apply for reciprocity. Application is available online, www.getreadyforcollege.org.

April 1, 2014  Wisconsin Covenant (Wisconsin residents only) confirmation paperwork is due. This must be sent to the state office. Documents postmarked after April 1 will not be accepted. This is the Covenant FAFSA deadline as well.

May 20, 21, and 22, 2014  First Year Student Registration and Orientation.  

June 2014  Receive roommate/residence hall assignment, and residence hall services booklet from University Housing.

June 2014  Sign the Fee Payment Agreement (directions here) .

June 2014  Be sure to request final transcripts showing graduation date from high schools, colleges and universities to be sent to UW-Stout Admissions Office.

June 3, 4, 5, 6, 17, 18, 19, and 20, 2014  First Year Student Registration and Orientation.

June/July 2014  Receive parking permit application from the Parking Services Office.

July 30, 2014  Final high school transcripts must be received by Office of Admissions.

July/August 2014  Activate your Stout OneCard.

August 2014  Logon to Access Stout for Fall 2014 billing information. 

August 2014 Receive move-in instructions from University Housing. 

August 2014 Sign Master Promissory Notes (MPN) and Perkins loan promissory notes signed online prior to beginning classes (Access Stout).

August 15, 2014 First Year Student Registration and Orientation.  

August 31, 2014   Move in to residence hall.

September 3, 2014  Classes begin!
