August 1, 2014  Start the online application process.

September 1, 2014  Submit your online application.

September 15, 2014  UW-Stout starts reviewing complete applications.

September 15, 2014  Stout University Foundation Scholarship Application is available online.

Beginning October 2014  After accepted to UW-Stout receive housing packet. Follow online process to sign our contract and pay the $125 housing pre-payment fee to hold our residence hall space.

October 10,16,17,31 2014  Come visit us during our Campus Preview Days.

December 2014  Apply for a Department of Education Personal Identification Number (PIN) if you intend to apply for financial aid. The PIN registration is online.

January 1, 2015  FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) applications are available online, www.fafsa.ed.gov.

February 2, 2015  Stout University Foundation Scholarship Application due.

February 1, 2015  Registration begins for Placement Test.  Regional Placement Testing FAQ  [PDF]

February 15, 2015  Priority deadline for FAFSA to be eligible for financial need-based scholarships through the Stout Foundation Scholarship Application.

March 2015  Receive Registration Day information.

March 2015  Receive Housing room preferences and University Dining Plan selection information from University Housing.

March 2015  Financial Aid award letters posted to Access Stout.

March 15, 2015  Priority deadline for FAFSA.

Beginning April 1, 2015  Minnesota residents apply for reciprocity. Application is available online at www.ohe.state.mn.us.

April 1, 2015  Wisconsin Covenant (Wisconsin residents only) confirmation paperwork is due. This must be sent to the state office. Documents postmarked after April 1 will not be accepted. This is the Covenant FAFSA deadline as well.

June 2015  Receive roommate/residence hall assignment, and residence hall services booklet from University Housing.

June 2015  Sign the Fee Payment Agreement (directions here) .

June 2015  Be sure to request final transcripts showing graduation date from high schools, colleges and universities to be sent to UW-Stout Admissions Office.

June/July 2015  Receive parking permit application from the Parking Services Office.

July 30, 2015  Final high school transcripts must be received by Office of Admissions.

July/August 2015  Activate your Stout OneCard.

August 2015  Logon to Access Stout for Fall 2014 billing information.

August 2015 Receive move-in instructions from University Housing.

August 2015 Sign Master Promissory Notes (MPN) and Perkins loan promissory notes signed online prior to beginning classes (Access Stout).

September 6, 2015   Move in to residence hall.

September 9, 2015  Classes begin!
