In 2008 there was a reorganization of the University of Wisconsin-Stout academic units. The College of Human Development (CHD) was eliminated.  The College of College of Education, Health and Human Sciences (CEHHS) was formed. Most of the departments from CHD moved to CEHHS, and the School of Education (SOE), which was a stand-alone unit prior to 2008, was moved to CEHHS.
