Chancellor Sorensen nominated two UW-Stout administrators and four community representatives. Governance groups submitted names of students, faculty and staff for consideration as well.

The campus search committee convened for the first time  Jan. 14, at UW-Stout. At that meeting, Telfer will officially charged the committee with its mission, review procedures and began the national search. The work of the search and screen committee will take place over the spring semester. A search timeline will be established that will culminate in having a new chancellor named in late spring, with the planned start date of August 2014.
