ABI/Inform is one of the largest electronic sources of business information. African American Music Database

The database will bring together 50,000 pages of text reference, biographies, chronologies, sheet music, images, lyrics, liner notes, and discographies which chronicle the diverse history and culture of the African American experience through music. The database includes comprehensive coverage of blues, jazz, spirituals, civil rights songs, slave songs, minstrelsy, rhythm and blues, gospel, and other forms of black American musical expression.

AgeLine

AgeLine is an online, bibliographic database produced by AARP that focuses on the subject of aging and middle-aged and older adults. AgeLine summarizes journal articles, books and chapters, research reports, dissertations, gray literature, and educational videos from many publishers and organizations, including AARP. Links to full text or ordering options are included wherever possible.

Agricola (in FirstSearch)

Agricola covers subjects relating to all aspects of agriculture, forestry, and animal science. It is produced on a monthly basis by the National Agricultural Library of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The database describes materials acquired by the National Agriculture Library and cooperating institutions. It indexes books, serials, audiovisual and other materials. Agricola

AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) is a bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature created by the National Agricultural Library (NAL) and its cooperators. The records describe publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences. Although the AGRICOLA database does not contain the materials, thousands of AGRICOLA records are linked to full-text documents online, with new links added daily.

Published since 1964, the database comprises almost 400,000 bibliographic entries, providing an incomparable research tool for US and Canadian history. In addition to covering all key English-language historical journals, America: History and Life coverage includes selected historical journals from major countries, state and local history journals, and a targeted selection of hundreds of journals in the social sciences and humanities. BadgerLink is a program supported and funded through the Department of Public Instruction, Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning. BioMed Central is an independent publishing house committed to providing immediate open access to peer-reviewed biomedical research. All original research articles published by BioMed Central are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication. BioMed Central's portfolio of 179 journals includes general titles alongside specialist journals (e.g. BMC Bioinformatics) that focus on particular disciplines.

BioOne

BioOne provides integrated, access to a thoroughly linked information resource of interrelated journals focused on the biological, ecological and environmental sciences. Currently over 40,000 full text articles are available from 40 peer-reviewed journals. Coverage is from 2000 to the present. Black Drama

When complete, Black Drama will contain the full text of 1,200 plays written from the mid-1800s to the present by more than 100 playwrights from North America, English-speaking Africa, the Caribbean, and other African diaspora countries. Many of the works are rare, hard-to-find, or out of print. Nearly a quarter of the collection will consist of previously unpublished plays by writers such as Langston Hughes, Ed Bullins, Willis Richardson, Femi Euba, Amiri Baraka, Randolph Edmonds, Zora Neale Hurston, and many others.

Engineering Village 2 (Compendex)

Engineering Village 2 (Compendex) is the most comprehensive bibliographic database of engineering research literature, containing references to over 5000 engineering journals and conferences. It covers literature that makes a definite contribution to knowledge in the subject areas of engineering and applied science. About half the citations (from 2600 journals and conferences) include abstracts and indexing in the records. Online coverage is from 1970 to the present, and files are updated weekly. The highest percentages of journal literature are in the fields of chemical and process engineering (15%), computers and data processing (12%), applied physics (11%), and electronics and communication (12%). The Kraus Curriculum Development Library (kcdl) is a searchable database that provides curriculum information on a variety of subjects covered in PreK-12 and Adult Basic Education. OAIster

OAIster is a union catalog of digital resources from the University of Michigan. Access is provided to these digital resources by "harvesting" their descriptive metadata (records) using OAI-PMH (the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting). The digital resources provided are varied in that they might be government documents, conference proceedings, papers, articles. Resources cover the humanities, social sciences and sciences. Twentieth Century Advice Literature

Twentieth Century Advice Literature: North American Guides on Race, Gender, Sex, and the Family allows students and researchers to immerse themselves in the values and behaviors of Americans of the past. The Value Line Investment Survey provides up-to-date, weekly issues covering some 1,700 equity issues. For each stock in its universe it offers year-ahead and three- to five-year probable relative price performance, projections of key financial measures, and concise, objective commentary on current operations and future prospects.

The Value Line Investment Survey's main section, "Ratings & Reports," presents full-page, individual stock reports (encapsulating the company's past performance, current status, and outlook) and industry reviews. The "Summary & Index" provides a key to locating the latest quarterly and supplementary reports and cites the most recent data on each of the stocks followed. Finally, "Selection & Opinion," a feature section, gives Value Line's views on the economy and the stock market and on stocks of special interest.
