Education
Denise earned her Bachelor's degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and her Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Denise came to UW-Stout in 1978.
Responsibilities
Denise is the Instruction Work Group leader. She spends many hours teaching use of the library and information resources to classes and groups. She manages the library publications and pathfinders, works at the reference desk, and participates in the reference collection review.
Hobbies/Recreation
Denise participates in international folk dancing, as part of the Quaker Friendly Folk Dancers, and Bistra Voda (an Eau Claire, WI folk dance performance group). She plays the violin: folk music, dance music, and classical music. She also teaches Suzuki violin part time. Denise loves canoeing, biking, cross country skiing, gardening, and hiking.
